However, when under attack from the Gods Army, he used sorcery that broke through his spiritual limits to save his comrades, and he lost his powers. Having lost power and confidence, he wandered wasted until an encounter with his old commander's beloved sword Zanketsu reawakened his lost passion. Beneath the castle of Granadia, he held a sword for the first time in his life.
