In the early days of the Ancient War, he was the star magician and beast tamer of the travelling circus "Crimson Stars". They say that the group had great success everywhere it performed, thanks to the ringmaster's comic magical arts and Diaz' magical ability to summon cute Mikyuons. His gentle manners and the intellectual atmosphere were part of his charm. He was also the mentor of the orphan who joined the group as an archer. The secrets of his tricks are still undisclosed.
