She was once called Lapleh, and was employed as a caretaker and manager at the orphanage where Rayas and Roy were raised. The orphanage records included a person named Lapleh in the role of caretaker when it was first founded, and so as time went on the person who raised and ministered to the children was simply called "Lapleh" which is a mark of tradition. For what it's worth, the person called Lapleh when Rayas was a child has passed on, and there is a new person in that role.
