The beach was a training ground. Running along the sand built endurance and stability. Swimming improved breathing and focus. As the next king, Orvell always needed to better himself. He didn't visit just to sample Ces' shave ice, or feast on Luahn's cooking, or watch Liza's dazzling firework displays. Those were reserved for special occasions, such as today.
